Funding

From an internal memo between Leslie Goo, Budget Analyst-House Finance Committee and Lenny Klompus the Statehood Commission vice-chair.

A couple quick questions about the $500,000 you request:

1.How was the source of funding determined?
FYI- Funds requested based on a $1.2 million dollar budget, $600K ($100 approved last year), and
would constitute matching funds.

2. What will the funds be spent on? Do you have a breakdown of anticipated costs?
Funds planned to be utilized primarily for commemoration events statewide as well as local, national and international public awareness campaign.

3. Do you anticipate this event generating revenue? If so, then approximately how much?Statehood Commission is setting up events, etc. to break even.
