We the African people
From this beautiful land called Africa
From rural areas and big cities
We heard about you
How people of all colours
Blacks and Whites
Listen to you

As far as we are concerned
You are one of us
And we need change too

No, we can't regain our dignity
Without a change in US foreign policy in Africa
Change No1: stop supporting assassins
Change No2: stop supporting dictators
Be firm with those who kill, torture and murder their own people
We hold the world record for murdered politicians
No, we can't fix our issues
NO, we can't without your support
We Africans are proud of who we are
Even though our land is being looted
We belong to noone

Dear Mr President
God bless your country
And may this change you talk so much about
Mean something for the African continent
Something Positive
